3aaa celebrate achievements of Apprentices and Employers in annual celebration awards

fsf

On Thursday 4th December, we invited our Apprentices, Employers, partners and stakeholders to our annual celebration awards event at the House of Lords in London.

The day was a great success as our guests were treated to afternoon tea and we shared some of our greatest success stories from 2014 and rewarded some of the people that help make 3aaa an outstanding Apprenticeship provider.

Our owners Peter Marples and Di McEvoy-Robinson hosted the event and spoke about the 3aaa journey throughout the year before handing over to our special guest presenters to present the awards to our deserving winners.

Helena Ann Kennedy, Baroness Kennedy of The Shaws was joined by Shaun Barker, the club captain of Derby County Football Club as well as Wayne Madsen and Tom Poynton from Derbyshire County Cricket Club.

Di spoke about how Baroness Kennedy was one of her idols when growing up as she stood up for everything that Di believed in and could be used as inspiration to all young women who are starting out in their dreams careers.

We also used our close partnerships with Derby County Football Club and Derbyshire County Cricket Club to welcome Shaun Barker, Wayne Madsen and Tom Poynton to the House of Lords. Many young people are inspired by their sporting heroes and use the ‘power of sport’ to help them follow their dreams.

Congratulations to all of the Apprentices and Employers that won an award yesterday and we look forward to taking these successful partnerships into 2015.
