The 3aaa team at Blackburn celebrated their official grand opening on Friday of last week. The day, which was attended by a number of chief members of the local community, was a great success for the academy.

The Mayor, Councillor Faryad Hussain officially opened the academy, marking the beginning of the celebrations. The Mayoress, Saria Hussain, was also in attendance to offer her support to the work that 3aaa are doing in the local area of Blackburn.

While enjoying the day’s events, Mayor Hussain spent time talking with Digital Marketing Apprentice, Luke Smith about his dreams and passion for videography. Luke spoke about his time as an Apprentice and how it has completely changed his life, allowing him to use his passion for filming every single day. The benefits Apprentices can bring to local businesses are immeasurable and Mayor Hussain could not be more certain of the positive impact the Blackburn team will have on the local community.

The academy was also visited by local MP, Kate Hollern, who also voiced her support for Apprenticeships. As a big advocate for getting women interested in a career in IT, she was more than happy to attend and offer support and guidance to those aspiring Apprentices.
