About your role at 3aaa
I started at 3aaa in September 2017 as a Project Manager, working with Mitie and progressed to Regional Operations Manager for the North in December 2017. I am a highly experienced and competent operations manager specialising in the Apprenticeship area. I am highly motivated and results-orientated, with a proven track record of providing exemplary levels of service, delivery and growth in Apprenticeship provision for a broad range of industries. With my organised approach and clear structured expectations, my objectives and aims are successful.
I strive to provide outstanding strategic leadership and operational management for my colleagues, ensuring the development and delivery of inspiring, responsive and innovative training here at 3aaa.
I manage four Delivery Account Managers who manage the Facilitator/Trainers and Coach/Mentors delivering a range of Apprenticeship programmes to our Levy clients and delegates nationally.
I account manage a selection of clients across the North including UK Greetings, Princes, BMB and 3aaa Internal Apprenticeships. I also work to manage some of 3aaa’s associates and partners to ensure their delivery meets the Apprenticeship Standards which compliments the Coaching and Mentoring of the 3aaa team.
Your background prior to 3aaa
I started my Apprenticeship educational career back in 2004 where I worked for two private training providers delivering Hospitality Apprenticeships. From here I moved to a Nottinghamshire college where I was promoted into roles of programme co-ordinator, employer engagement manager to Head of Employer Engagement which I continued with in the second Nottinghamshire college in 2014. I worked with large and SME’s across the UK to deliver a wide range of Apprenticeship programmes including Construction, Engineering, IT, Health and Beauty, Hospitality, Care and Professional Services.
How your role and skills enhance our service and add value to our partnering clients
My commitment to 3aaa, myself and the clients see is us striving for constant outstanding delivery. I was once told I have an infectious personality and am inquisitive! My desire to be involved and understand what is happening ensures that I get the job done!
Customers first, Excellence first, Integrity first, my role requires me to be energised, passionate and ambitious to drive these aspects of the business to the next level including working with all staff to continuously improve the apprentice experience.
What are your interests outside of work?
I love and live for holidays in the sun, as many as I can squeeze in each year and the hotter the better. It’s all about the relaxation, sun, sand and sea. I could be anywhere in the world as long as the sun is shining I am happy.
I am a great foodie and love to visit many restaurants home and abroad. I will try any food at least once…well maybe not some of that bush tucker food on I’m A Celebrity!
I am a lover of the theatre, cinema and live music. The 31st March will be my second visit to London in 2018 to see another show, I frequently go to the cinema and love adrenaline running films that make you jump.
I love live music, I saw Feeder at Rock City in March 2018 and am off to Waxy O’Connor’s and The Piano Bar in London over the Easter break.
