As a training provider of Accounting Apprenticeships we aim to provide the next generation of Accounting Technicians to feed the demand for young and dynamic qualified professionals through the delivery of the highly regarded AAT qualification at levels 3 & 4.
We are now seeking a Level 3 & 4 Advanced Accounting Mentor who will have responsibility for the mentoring and development of the Accounting Apprenticeship programmes at our Academies in Newcastle and Middlesbrough.
As the Accounting Mentor you will be responsible for assessing and monitoring Apprentice learning and progress throughout the program. Our Accounting Trainers may act as Personal Tutors, Assessors, Internal Verifiers and assist with the recruitment of students.
Essential
- Ability to teach up to Level 4 of the AAT award
- Relevant accounting qualification (e.g CIMA, AAT, ACCA etc)
- Relevant occupational competence
- Teaching qualification, PTLLs as a minimum
- Ability to deliver Business Administration and Employability sessions
- Must hold or be willing to work towards the A1 qualification (V1 awards desirable)
- Previous experience delivering both financial and management accounting elements
- Willingness to travel across region
Desirable
We are also seeking Accounting Mentors with strong communication skills who can support the wide range of employers we work with, to develop and assess the skills, knowledge and behaviours of our apprentices in the work place.
