3aaa have an exciting new opportunity for someone keen to use their experience, knowledge and skills to join a dynamic and fast paced training company.

3aaa are currently looking to create several new roles to help the development and implementation of the new School Business Professional Apprenticeship programme.

The roles may be based at either our head office in Derby or one of our local centres across England. and could involve occasional travel. The purpose of the roles are to create a new team to lead on the design and development of the School Business Professional Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard and to lead the training, innovation and inspiration of a new team to provide an excellent teaching and learning experience for apprentices and employers.

This role would ideally suit someone currently in a School Business Manager role as part of the senior team and has an interest in training others. You may already have some experience in providing professional leadership and management of school support staff and teaching staff as well as other aspects of the administrative function of the school.

Key Tasks and Accountabilities across the roles (These will be more specific to the different roles but cover the general skills, knowledge and experience required across the team).
•Leading on the curriculum development for the School Business Professional Standard with an excellent knowledge of leadership and strategy for school support staff and teaching staff.
•Preparing and/or delivering suitable, quality course materials that meets the requirement of the apprenticeship standard
•To develop and implement online resources to support a blended leaning model for all learners enrolled onto the School Business Professional Standard
•Creating training programmes that are aligned with a client’s objectives with a strong understanding of what these are
•To deliver classroom-based and/or remote 1:1 sessions to Apprentices associated with the subject specialism against the Apprenticeship Programme and level
•To devise and implement strategies that will identify learners’ support needs promptly thus leading to thorough and appropriate arrangements for intervention.
•Provide enriched opportunities and appropriately challenging provision across the curriculum for all learners to ensure English and maths is an integral part of their programme and that the provision is to the highest standards
•To lead teams towards outstanding teaching, learning, training and assessment, ensuring every step of the learner’s journey is good or outstanding.
•To ensure the whole learner experience is varied, has breadth and enables all to reach their full potential in line with their specific learning plan.
•To ensure that equality and diversity is promoted and embedded within the curriculum and that staff feel confident to challenge and develop learners’ tolerance to difference

People Management
•Develop a positive and supportive culture, working towards the highest standards, driving aspirations for all staff and apprentices to reach for excellence
•To establish and maintain effective channels of
•Liaising regularly with respective management, quality assurance team and providing improvement plans where appropriate with action plans for learners to support delivery in the field

Qualifications and Knowledge
Essential
•Experience within a School Business Manager role or an aspect of this role in an educational setting (this may be in a HE or FE environment).
•Relevant training qualification or willingness to work towards
•Driving licence and access to a car
•GCSE Grade C or above English and maths

Desirable
•Hold the Certificate in School Business Management (CSBM) or equivalent.
•Experience of coaching and mentoring
•Previous experience of managing an area of curriculum delivery and development
•Awarding Organisation knowledge and experience
