3aaa Apprenticeship Graduations

Over the past few months 3aaa Apprenticeships has seen graduations at its academies in Birmingham and Middlesbrough. Both Apprentices and employers were invited to help celebrate the commitment and effort learners had put into their work and learning throughout their course.

On the 22nd of September, our Birmingham Academy learners completed their IT and Business Admin level 4 qualifications and were invited to Birmingham City Football Club for their graduation ceremony. 3aaa Apprenticeships CEO Richard Irons presented the learners with their certificates congratulating them on their 12 months of hard work. As well as the presentation, entertainment was also provided with one of the apprentices singing for those gathered, showing just what talented individuals they are.

Sarah Watkins, our 3aaa Apprenticeships Birmingham Academy manager said “It’s been great to see how these young people have progressed over the past year and that they have reached this point! CEO Richard came to present the awards making the event all the more memorable. We wish every success to all those who graduated in their future careers”

On 6th October 2016, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) also held their first Apprenticeship Graduation Day. This event celebrated the achievements of Apprentices who have completed their 12-month program with HPE, many of them progressing onto level 4. The Apprentices were celebrating completing their level 3 courses in Business Admin and IT with the 3aaa Middlesbrough Academy.

A representative from HPE stated “This was an opportunity to officially present the Apprentices with their certificates, and recognise the achievement each and every one of them had made in completing their Level 3 qualifications. They demonstrated positive behaviour and attitude towards their qualification and work role, and continue to do so. As our businesses continue to grow, it goes without saying that Apprentices will play a vital part in our future business plan.”

Whilst at the event Cain Campbell, who was celebrating the completion of his IT level 3, said “With the help from Manpower (HPE) and 3aaa Apprenticeships, I am now able to continue in education and am currently working towards my Level 4 Diploma in IT.” Adding shortly after “I have been given a fantastic opportunity and I am very keen to complete this by August 2017.”

Past Apprentice Rhianna was also present, saying “After completing my Apprenticeship I worked as a Service Desk Agent for 6 months before being promoted to a Senior Agent which allowed me to develop management and leadership skills and from this point I then went on to become a Deputy Team Leader of the Service Desk in June 2015 until present. The skills which I have developed, Customer Service, IT, Management and many more will be beneficial throughout my life and chosen career path”

Graduation ceremonies have become a cornerstone in celebrating academic achievement. These events are designed to be something young people will look back on with fond memories and will never forget. Having employers welcome at the events also helped to thank them for the investment which they have put into these young people, making their whole journey possible. We hope to see more of graduation ceremonies taking place across the country in the future so that we are able to celebrate how hard our apprentices work over their time spent with 3aaa Apprenticeships.
