Lauren Burrows, Digital Marketing Trainer and Assessor for our Norwich Apprenticeships Academy has received an exclusive award for her contribution to a pitch-style competition in Norfolk.
She was part of a team who developed an application interface called Hector Help, which aimed to help give young people a voice when it comes to bullying. Hector Help was developed to give specific help and guidance based on what they tell ‘Hector’ about their situation.
This was then reviewed by a panel of judges and other teams involved in the challenge. Lauren’s team were commended for their app and won the competition.
In addition, Lauren and her team received the People’s choice award, which is a one-off award, recognising their commitment and achievement on an individual level.
3aaa Apprenticeships are extremely proud of Lauren and her team’s achievement in this competition and her commitment to young people overall. Lauren added: “I am extremely honoured to receive the People’s choice award for this event. I am passionate about developing technology to benefit young people and this is something that 3aaa Apprenticeships achieve on a daily basis.”
