The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea Better Their Service Using 3aaa’s Data Analyst Programme

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council (RBKC) provides a range of local government services working closely with Westminster City Council and the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

3aaa Apprenticeships and RBKC’s close partnership means that RBKC can take full advantage of our industry-leading Data Analyst programme to further advance the skills and knowledge of those working in Data-related roles. Offering their employees the option to take part in the programme gives them the opportunity to look at gaps in their knowledge and experience, and build on these to fill their maximum potential. Becoming RBKC’s provider for the Data Analyst programme meant that 3aaa could specifically tailor the programme to meet the needs of the business and correctly provide support in the areas where it’s needed most – providing an effective solution to how their Levy funds are being used.

Beth Martin, Team Coordinator and Data Analyst at RBKC, is one of many employees within the business that’s currently participating in the Data Analyst programme with 3aaa. Beth has been on the programme since May this year and has already found the knowledge that she’s gained so far advantageous throughout her role.

Beth commented “With everything that I’ve learnt so far, it’s been great to be able to put things into practice. I’ve really benefited from being able to develop in the areas that I wasn’t so knowledgeable in, and learning about the areas that I didn’t necessarily already know about.”

Beth initially showed interest in the programme after seeing it advertised internally. She was able to secure her place on the programme after a discussion with her manager, and started working towards her qualification and developing her skillset.

“The technical language that I’ve learned has been a huge help,” Beth continued. “I’ve been able to look at the tools that are used within the sessions and see how they work in practice.”

Beth’s line manager, Baanu Baghbani-Irvine conveyed how Apprenticeships have positively impacted her career. “Beth has been able to incorporate her learning in her day to day job i.e using different and more effect models to report and analyse data for our quarterly report. Beth has already been head hunted for a Data analyst post which she has accepted and will be moving on to in the next few weeks.”

Whether you’re a small business or Levy paying employer, 3aaa Apprenticeships can support the growth of your organisation through skills development. Our academies can provide bespoke Apprenticeship programmes on a local level to help develop and target skills provision towards the needs of all UK sectors, companies and roles within companies.
