Ruth Sutton, 3aaa’s Lead Workplace Mentor, shortlisted for the Women in IT Awards 2018

Ruth Sutton, our Lead Workplace Mentor, was nominated for The Rising Star Award at the Women in IT Awards 2018 back in October 2017. The impressive annual awards ceremony is being held at the end of this month at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, where the most influential women in the IT industry will be getting together to celebrate their achievements.

Ruth was nominated for The Rising Star Award based on her fantastic work and the impact that she’s had on others throughout her role. The Rising Star Award is judged on the last 18 months of the candidate’s career, taking onboard their innovations, contributions and standout achievements.

Ruth said “I am elated at being nominated for such a prestigious award. I have enjoyed everything surrounding technology and apprentices over the past few years, most recently being involved in a national project where I offered support to not only apprentices but trainers and assessors too.”

The Women in IT Awards has its third annual ceremony coming up, and it tackles the technology industry’s gender imbalance by illustrating the innovation and achievements that female influencers have shown.

We’re looking forward to finding out the result on January 31st, 2018 and we wish Ruth the very best of luck.
