3aaa Apprenticeships are helping women across England to build a Technology career through Apprenticeships.
Here is a case study by Leigh, a Level 3 Technology Apprentice with Manpower.
“I feel proud to be combatting a stereotype of being a woman in such a male-dominated industry and hope that people read my story and first-hand experience as a Technology Apprentice to see that it’s not gender-specific at all. You will be accepted by everybody and get the help and guidance you need to build a career in Technology.
I chose a career in Technology because I had studied ICT throughout school and even studied it at A Level, really taking a shine to the idea of a career in Technology.
The reason I took the Apprenticeship route was because I felt like it would give me more real life experiences, as opposed to sitting in a classroom. You still learn the theory but it is more job role related, which is what really suits me.”

“I started my Apprenticeship in September 2016 and during this time I have learnt lots of skills in the workplace like fault logging and customer services, which have been reinforced by studying them further in the 3aaa Apprenticeships academy.
I want to progress onto a Level 4 Apprenticeship and branch out into new ventures to further develop new skills.
My 3aaa Apprenticeship has helped me build my self-confidence, shape my career path and realise my opportunities.”
If you are looking to start your career, consider an Apprenticeship. If you’re an employer looking to recruit your workforce, consider recruiting a 3aaa Apprentice.
