Our Level 4 Cyber Security: Risk Analyst Apprenticeship gives apprentices the chance to learn within a working environment and develop the personal development skills required to work in a Cyber Security role. Following the programme, Apprentices will cover digital security and, more specifically, knowledge and understanding within risk assessment.
Over the course of this Level 4 Apprenticeship, participants will cover topics such as cyber security principles and techniques, laws, standards and regulations that surround cyber security, analysing and evaluating threats and hazards.
Introduction to Cyber Security
Participants will learn why cyber security matters, basic security theory and how it can be applied to typical information and communications technology (ICT) cyber infrastructures, the concept of security assurance and how security objectives can be used to build a security case.
In this module, participants will learn how to manage information, risks and threats efficiently and effectively, whilst covering the differences between threats and vulnerabilities and learning about factors relating to the standards surrounding cyber risk assessment.
Governance, Organisation, Law, Regulation and Standards
Participants will learn about the need for appropriate governance, organisational structure, roles, policies, standards and guidelines for cyber and information security, how they work together to deliver identified security outcomes and how they are supported.
Learning & Assessment
Over the course of the 15 month Apprenticeship, learners will receive close training from their 3aaa trainer in one of our 38 training academies.
