HR Support Level 3

Course Overview

Our Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeship gives apprentices the chance to learn within a working environment and develop the personal development skills required to work in a HR role. Following the programme, learners will understand the use of Human Resources in an organisation and be able to support good practice in employment relations and performance.

Over the course of this Level 3 Apprenticeship, participants will develop their understanding of personal development, learn how to record, analyse and use Human Resources information, and be able to identify opportunities to improve HR performance and services.

Modules

Module One

Developing Yourself as an Effective Human Resources or Learning and Development Practitioner

Learners will begin by covering service delivery and personal development, learning how to deliver effectively to users’ needs and be able to reflect on their own practice.

Module Two

Understanding Organisations and the Role of Human Resources

Learners will cover HR legislation and policy, understanding the structure of an organisation, the products and services it delivers, sectors in which it operates and the values that it operates by.

Module Three

Recording, Analysing and Using Human Resources Information

Learners will look at HR systems and processes and managing HR information. They’ll begin to understand the systems, tools and processes that’ll be used in their role and then look at preparing reports and information from HR data.

Module Four

Resourcing Talent

Learners will identify opportunities to improve HR performance and services with process improvement. Then working on resilience, looking at how they can positively deal with setbacks when they occur and being able to stay positive under pressure.

Module Five

Supporting Good Practice in Managing Employment Relations

Working on creating relationships within the workplace, learners will work on communication and interpersonal skills to be able to deal effectively with customers and colleagues, helping them develop communication skills through a range of media (face to face, over the phone, email etc.).

Module Six

Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward Management

Covering HR systems and processes, flexibility, honesty and integrity, learners will start with systems and processes and then start to develop an understanding of the systems, tools and processes used in their role, including the core HR systems.

Learning & Assessment

Over the course of the 13 month Apprenticeship, learners will receive close training from their 3aaa trainer in one of our 38 training academies.

During the academy sessions, Apprentices will be covering a range of modules that will be tailored towards their roles and responsibilities, learning about the concepts behind their tasks within the workplace and being able to develop themselves with key industry experience.

Individual employers will set the selection criteria, but this is likely to include A levels; a level 3 Apprenticeship or other relevant qualification; relevant experience and/or an aptitude test with a focus on functional maths.

Hire an Apprentice

Hire a HR Apprentice

Hiring a HR Support Apprentice will support your business’s HR needs, providing internal support to your organisation.

We can work with you to source a suitable applicant for your business or you can up-skill your existing employees. If the employee is under 19 and your business has less than you employees, there will be no cost for the training. If they are over 19 and/or your business has over 50 employees then you will contribute 10% towards the cost of the training.

National Insurance Contribution rebate for Apprentices

Did you know that you could claim back the National Insurance Contributions for your Apprentices depending on their age? If your business has hired an Apprentice since 6th April 2016, who is aged under 25 and is enrolled on an Apprenticeship, you can claim back your National Insurance Contributions for them. Depending on the salary of your Apprentice, this could amount to a significant saving. By changing your employer contribution category for Apprentices who meet these criteria you will save your business money.
