Why I Chose an Apprenticeship – Jordan Brown, IT Apprentice
After choosing A Levels that I wasn’t enjoy studying, I started looking for an apprenticeship in IT and I came across the 3aaa academy in Newcastle which I got in touch with. Almost immediately, I received a warming response from Luke who invited me to come in for a short interview where I was shown around the academy and met the rest of the friendly staff. After gathering exactly what I was looking for, just a couple of days later I was sent through a vast amount of apprenticeship opportunities; there were so many options!
Once I reviewed which ones I thought would suit me the most, I let Luke know who then passed me onto Michelle, who arranged an interview with the employer and gave me everything I would need for it. Thanks to Michele; who knew going into an interview could be so relaxing?
My great experience with 3aaa didn’t just stop there once I had secured my apprenticeship, this continued in both the academy and visits from my assessor – the support from every member of staff is truly incredible!
I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at the academy who helped me complete my Level 3, I’m now just about to start my Level 4.
