Our Apprentice Intake from 3aaa Worcester Academy, Sam Ellis, presented an excellent presentation about the importance of first impressions to students at Bromsgrove School. It was well received with the PSHE/Careers Advisor, Zia Leech, commenting on the impact of the presentation:
“Sam gave a superb and thoroughly engaging presentation on first impressions to a large group of 5th form pupils, tailoring the talk to suit the needs of the student body, as requested by the school. The pupils were invited to actively take part and have their opinions heard, this meant that they were focused for 45 minutes and kept interested with audience participation and visual quizzes. Sam was excellent in holding their attention with a fast pace, the right amount of humour and factual information. We learned that an impression is made in the first seven seconds of meeting someone, Sam made a great impression with us! We hope she will return to engage with other year groups.”
